| A Unique Alpine Hideaway in the Berkshires |
|
Ramblewood Inn is located in Sheffield, Massachusetts. The Inn is a chalet-style log home on two acres of peacefully wooded land, nestled among the pines and mountains with its own serene lake. Just two hours from New York, three hours from Boston, one hour from Albany or Hartford, Ramblewood Inn is just minutes to all Berkshire activities. Throughout the summer, enjoy Tanglewood, Berkshire Choral Festival, Barrington Stage, Jacobs Pillow, the Norman Rockwell Museum and many more cultural attractions. Our area information page has links to obtain more information.
In the winter enjoy cross-country and downhill skiing as well as snowboarding at local ski slopes five minutes away. We have ski weekend specials. Spring and fall are the perfect times for hiking the Appalachian Trail, biking the rural country roads or canoeing on the Inn's nearby spring-fed lake. Beginning in September and running to November, check the fall foliage coloration. |
The Ramblewood
Inn
"The contemporary log cabin
construction of this bed and breakfast is unique among the Berkshire
inns in that it imparts a distinct warmth and conviviality often lacking
amid the antiques-filled premises elsewhere. |
